Call for papers
“Men - Environment Interactions in Coastal Zones”
The Journal of Integrated Coastal Zone Management (RGCI) is preparing the publication of a bunch of papers focused on “Men - Environment Interactions in Coastal Zones”.
The intention is to aggregate a set of articles that deal with several aspects related to this theme. Therefore, articles that deal with the following aspects, among others, are of particular interest:
- Modifications (geomorphological, geochemical, biological, sedimentological, etc.) in coastal environments indirectly induced by human activities.
- Coastal zone alterations directly induced by human interventions (land reclamation, dredging, channel improvements, introduction of new species, etc.);
- Coastal zone evolution influenced by human forcing in diversified time scales (decadal, secular, milenar);
- Coastal zone transformations due to human activities in the catchment areas;

Written manuscripts in English or Portuguese, according to the RGCI journal guidelines, should be submitted until November, 30, 2011 to aprh@aprh.pt, rgci.editor@gmail.com, or to one of the invited editors.
