Lay Rationalities of Climate Change in the Coastal Zone
The Journal of Integrated Coastal Management / Revista de Gestão Costeira Integrada (JICM / RGCI) is preparing the publication of a group of articles dedicated to the “Lay Rationalities of Climate Change in the Coastal Zone” to be launched in 2014.
For this special issue, amongst others JICM / RGCI welcome submissions on the following topics:
- How Coastal Populations explain, interpret and deal with Climate Change?
- Learning about Climate Change in Coastal Areas;
- Individual and collective action in response to Climate Change in the Coastal Zone;
- Sedimentary budgets and morphodynamics under Climate Change forcing,
and Planning for Climate Change Effects on Coastal Margins;
- Climate Change Adaptation and adjustment to threatening events (adapting to climate change: socio- ecological resilience) in the Coastal Zone;
- Climate Change Mitigation (risk perception and risk-mitigating) in the Coastal Zone;
- Climate Change Risk and Impact Perception in the Coastal Zone;
- Traditional Knowledge about Climate Change in Coastal living Communities;
- Social Inequalities and Climate Change in Coastal living Communities;
- Intercultural Relations and Climate Change in Coastal living Communities.
Manuscripts must be submitted according to authors guidelines available in the journal’s website (http://www.aprh.pt/rgci/manuscripts-Subm.html and http://www.aprh.pt/rgci/submartigos.html) and they should be submitted until the deadline of 30 September 2013 to rgci.editor@gmail.com or aprh@aprh.pt .NEW DATE 28 FEBRUARY
