Guidelines for manuscript submission

Manuscript submission: submission must be done via e-mail to the RGCI web site ( aprh@aprh.pt ) or to one of the members of the Editorial Board (Prof. João Alveirinho Dias: rgci.editor@gmail.com , Prof. Marcus Polette mpolette@univali.br or prof. José Antunes do Carmo jsacarmo@dec.uc.pt ). All correspondence will be made via e-mail.

Language : manuscripts prepared in either Português (with na extended abstract in English) or in English (with extended abstract in Portuguese) will be accepted. Title, figures and table captions mus be bilingual.

Line spacing : double spacing must be used all along the manuscript.

Figures : figures must be sent in separeted, individual, files named after its proper numbering in the text. Acceptable formats are JPEG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, PNG, PCX, PSD. Figure captions must be sent on a separeted page at the end of the manuscript.

Tables : tables must be sent in separeted, individual, files named after its proper numbering in the text. Table captions must be sent on a separeted page at the end of the manuscript. The place along the manuscript where the table must be inserte needs to be clearly indicated.

Units : units must follow the Sistème International (SI). There should be no space between numerical figures and their respective units (ex. 1,234m2).

Authors : the scientific/professional name of the authors must be used and their respective institutions and addresses indicated. A corresponding author must be indicated and his/her e-mail provided.

Abstract : the manuscript must include two abstracts, one in the language of the text (Portuguese or English) with maximum 500 words; and another in the other language (English or Portuguese) with maximum 1000 words. The objective of this measure is to guarantee the widest possible visibility for the published articles.

References : authors should avoid as much as possible the use of grey literature (thesis, dissertations, reports, white papers etc.). Likewise, footnotes must be avoided.
