Aims and Scope

The Journal ‘Recursos Hídricos’ belongs to the Portuguese Water Resources Association (APRH) and it is a peer-reviewed Portuguese language journal that aims at disseminating scientific and technological knowledge, as well as practice in the field of water management, water governance, and water policy statement. The Journal also aims at disseminating the work undertaken by APRH at national and international level, as well as by its Regional Sections, and its Specialized Committees.

All publications are welcome under consideration of its uniqueness, innovative inputs, conditioned to not being redundant, or having been submitted multiple times in this or other journals. The submitted manuscripts will be subject to a peer-review process before publication.

Ethics

The Journal ‘Recursos Hidricos’ commits to ensure high ethical and professional standards. This includes not containing information that might mislead readers or authors, including any attempt to mimic another journal/publisher’s site. The Journal respects gender, ethnic and religious diversity, as well as freedom of opinion.

Content and periodicity

The relevant contents of ‘Recursos Hidricos’ is provided by scientific articles, discussion papers, opinion pieces, and other informative pieces such as interviews, and legal updates on water resources. All contents are original and presented to the Board of Editors’ scrutiny.

The Journal is published twice a year, with 2 Regular Issues (RI). In some years, a Special Issue (SI) is also published, e.g. in the years of the APRH Congress, or other major events promoted by APRH. In this case the SI is focused on the major presentations, and articles submitted, after peer-review.
