History

APRH is a non-profit technical and scientific association, whose activity is focused on water issues. It was founded on August 4, 1977, by a group of 160 professionals and scientists in the area of water resources, who, with an innovative vision, created an association that sought to influence the policies to be followed based on the principles and values of integrated management of water resources.

Since 1977 APRH has been based at LNEC – National Laboratory for Civil Engineering.

Currently, APRH has almost 1000 individual members and 200 institutional members.
