Resumo:
The last ten years have seen major changes in the use and benefits of technology. the rate of change in the 21st Century will be an accelaration, whether this change is brouth about by new or evolutionary technologies. Pressure to be more efficient is necessary and this is against a background of more stingent water quality standarts and consumer levels of service this paper will consider in broad terms where new technologies will impact upon the management’s operations and efficiency of water utilities.
